Ice Cream Birthday Card & Some Flip Flops I Decorated

Good evening everyone!  I hope you all are enjoying your week.

I have a card that I made today for one of my nieces who is celebrating her birthday in a few days.  She loves ice cream cones and loves girly colors.  I knew this card was going to be plain and simple so I decided to jazz it up a bit.  I will be submitting this card to Cricut Cardz Challenge where the challenge is to make a card using the card feature from any cartridge.

Recipe:
Sweet Treats cricut cartridge
Stickles-Cotton Candy, Star Dust, Glam Pink
Stampin Up Stampin Write in Early Espresso
A La Mode embossing power in Clear
Paper are scraps
Inks-VersaMark and VersaFine in Onyx Black
TPC Paper Studio Greetings stamp set

Hopefully you can see the cone in the picture.  I wanted to give it a different texture.
I stamped VersaMark directly on to the paper
Used A La Mode Clear Embossing Powder
Took my embossing stylus and created lines to look like an ice cream cone
Heat set it with my heat gun

I also wanted to share a pair of flip flops that I will be sending to my mom.  They were plain black flip flops that I bought at Joanns.

The ribbon and jewels were bought at Hobby Lobby.  I used E600 for the ribbon and I sewed on the jewels so that they wouldn't move.

Thanks so much for visiting.  Have a fabulous night!
