Pinterest Inspired Bookmark & Blog Hop This Weekend

So everyone loves Pinterest.  What a great way to get the creative juices flowing...

I found this idea here.  I wanted to make sure I gave credit to the person where the idea sparked off of Pinterest.  Bookmarks made with elastic headbands?! Love the idea!

I have so many of these :)

(I have more but obviously you don't need to see my hair accessories collection lol)

Just wanted to share how I put it together.  I did use the dimensionals so it wouldn't look messy.

Another view...

Decided to make two of them :)

Recipe:
All papers are from my scraps and stash
Eiffel Tower-French Manor Cricut cartridge and Lindy Stamp Gang Starburst Spray in Cotton Candy Pink

Seuss' Imagination Blog Hop

“Think left and think right and think low and think high.
Oh, the thinks you can think up if only you try!”
― Dr. Seuss

Don't hop on pop but hop on top of the Dr. Seuss Blog Hop, where a bunch of talented people came up with their own interpretations of the wonderful imagination of Dr. Seuss. The skies the limit when you have an imagination like Dr. Seuss and talent like those in this hop. Our hop today is hostessed by Jearise in Lorby's World and that is were to begin if you've happened here by chance otherwise continue on my friend.

Jearise in Lorby's World has some fun blog candy for this hop. She has a stuffed Cat in the Hall and a fun Thing 1 and Thing 2 craft plus a $10 gift card to Michaels. I know they're silly but doesn't that follow in the steps of Dr. Seuss?

So for my project I went with making the famous Cat In The Hat hat! I ultimately decided to keep this on my desk :). I just love the quote!

Recipe:
Papers are from my stash
Quote I pulled from the Internet
Lindy Stamp Gang Afternoon Delight Denim and Midnight Rendezvous Raven Starburst Spray

Thank you for joining us because...

“You're off to Great Places!
Today is your day!

So... get on your way!”
