Feel The Love Blog Hop

Click here for the GAB Color Challenge Card

Happy Saturday, Nikki here.  Welcome to the Feel The Love Blog Hop.  If you just came from the amazing Karel at One by One the Flamingos are Stealing my Sanity, then you are on the right track.  If you just happen to come across my blog and would like to hop along, please start with Jamie at Glitter, Stamps, and Paper, Oh My.  This hop is mixed with all types of projects to help get ideas for Valentine's Day.  Sit back and relax, grab some hot chocolate or hot tea and enjoy the hop.

I had to make a couple of these centerpieces for family and friends and thought I would share one for the hop.  This one will actually be a surprise for my mom.  My mom has graciously let me and my fiance stay with her until our move to Michigan which will be happening in about a month.  Our lease on our apartment was coming to an end instead of leasing for about 4 months, my mom said for us to come stay with her.  She has done so much for me and this is just one of the things that I made for her for Valentines'(I made her a few more things that I will share later).  You may notice that there is a sunshine in the mix of pink, red and white.  My mom calls me sunshine and I decided to put one in the bouquet mix.  The tootsie rolls are a a very reluctant present as my mother is diabetic and I don't like giving her candy that she can't have but every once in awhile doesn't hurt :).   I love how this turned out.  Enjoy!
The vase and red craft boa were bought at Joanns
Paper was from Core'dinations Gliz & Glam paper pack
Forever Young cricut cartridge
Hello Kitty Greetings cricut cartridge
The sparkling hearts were bought at Michaels
Boarder punch was from Martha Stewart
Wooden dowel rods
Brads were Recollections
Metallic Garnet Red FolkArt acrylic paint
White Wash Americana acrylic paint
Cherry Red Americana acrylic paint
Pink My Studio acrylic paint
Red craft boa came from Joanns

Now for the blog candy.  I have been feeling and little under the weather in addition to the nasty weather Delaware has been getting that I have not been able to shop shop so the winner will get a $20.00 gift card to Joanns, AC Moore or Michaels...their choice.  The way to win is to leave a comment and a way for me to get a hold of you.  I will draw the winner Monday, February 7th from random.org.

I also wanted to let everyone know to swing by GAB Challenges.  A new challenge blog with the first challenge starting today.  There will be a new challenge every Saturday.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog and I hope you have a wonderful weekend, I also want to thank Jamie at Glitter, Stamps, and Paper, Oh My! for allowing me to be a hop stop.

Your next stop is Elizabeth at Skittles and Scrapbooks.

What a beautiful centerpiece. I love the sun. It goes perfectly with the rest of the bouquet. Your mom will love it! The fact that she can't have tootsie rolls too often just means she's get to enjoy this gift alot longer :)

Thanks so much for showing and for joining in on this hop today!
