Motions & Folds Blog Hop

For the GAB Challenge post click here

Happy Saturday, I hope everyone enjoyed their week and I hope you have an awesome weekend.  Welcome to my blog and the Motions & Folds Blog Hop.  If you are coming from Brynn at Flair and Fills, you are on the right track.  If you have just come across my blog and would like to join the fun, please start at the beginning with Ellen at Card Monkey.

This blog is all about different folds and motions of a card.  I made two cards for today.  I decided to go with an easel card and a stair step card because I don't make them on a normal basis and I love that the possibilities are endless.  Making the cards were quite simple and I hope you enjoy my creations.
Recipe for Card:
Paper is from DCWV Citrus
Spellbinders Nestabilities-Small Scallop Circle, Small Circle, Small Scallop Oval, Small Oval
Sentiment was printed from my computer on to cardstock
Flowers are from Recollections
Ribbon is from my stash
Boarder punch is EK Success
Digi stamp is Kiki La Rue found at All That Scraps
Copic Sketch Markers-E000, E00, E35, E37, B06, R35, Y35
Atyou Spica-Orange and Blue

For the Stair Step Card:
Please excuse the mess in the back.  I start off clean and organized and it ends in a total mess.
Recipe for card:
Paper is from Core'dinations Glitz & Glam
Spellbinders Nestabilities-Small Oval Scallop, Small Oval, Small Circle Scallop, Small Circle
Poem I got from a source online
Boarder punch is EK Success
Digi Stamp is from Pink Cat Studio
Bling is from my stash but is Prima
Trim is from Treasures Nest
Petaloo Color Me Crazy
Copic Sketch Markers-E000, E00, E35, E37, V17
Atyou Spica in Lemon

Both card tutorials can be found on Split Coast Stampers.  I will be back tomorrow to show you my way of doing the easel card.

Now for some blog candy....
I'm gonna stay on the $20.00 gift card kick until I get relocated to Michigan which will hopefully be in the next couple of weeks.  Your choice of AC Moore, Joanns or Michaels.  The way to win...leave a comment and a way for me to reach you.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog and a very big thank you to Ellen at Card Monkey for allowing me to be a stop on this fun hop.

Your next stop will be Elaine at Expressions By Elaine.

Both cards are your use of color. Hope you move goes well. We lived in Michigan for 7 years in the 80's and 90's. We were stationed at Wurtsmith AFB in Oscoda, just north of Tawas, until it closed. I have such fond memories of our time there. Hope you and your family will love it in Mi. as much as we did.
