It's Cold Outside Blog Hop

Welcome to my blog and the It's Cold Outside Blog Hop!

This is a 2 day blog hop about the chilly winter.  There are some talented ladies on this hop so be sure to check out the projects for both days, you won't want to miss a thing.

If you are coming from Anita at Anita & Bugs, you are right on track.  If you just came across my blog, please start over with Zenita as she is our lovely hostess.

Here is the lineup in case you get lost...

I'm not a fan of the cold.  The only thing I do during the winter that keeps me happy (besides crafting)  is ski and snowboard.  Here is my project for today.  Enjoy!

Recipe:
Paper is from my stash and Martha Stewart Snowflace
Winter Frolic Cricut cartridge
VersaFine Onyx Black
TPC Studio Snowflake stamp set

Cricut cut was from Winter Frolic and it was Girl1 fround on page 38.  She was cut at 4inches.

Here you can see the Action Wobble...

She's doing the happy wobble dance lol...

Thanks for hopping by and be sure to check back tomorrow as I will have a new project to share.

Warm wishes to you all!

Theme Day Thursday At Erica's My Cricut Craft Room

Happy Thursday!

Today is Theme Day over at Erica's My Cricut Craft Room where we were given the option to either do a Baby Boy Theme or use the Flower Shoppe Cricut cartridge.

I went with using the Flower Shoppe Cricut cartridge and made a bookmark...

This corner bookmark tutorial can be found at Splitcoaststampers.  For the flower I used was Scallop1 on page 13.  I cut that at 5 1/2inches.  The leaf was the Exotic5 on page 22 and I cut that at 3inches.

Paper is from my scraps
Flower Shoppe Cricut cartridge
Border punch is from Martha Stewart
Ribbon and stamens are from my stash

Would You Ever Guess Wednesday

Hi everyone!  I'm so excited to share that I've been added to the My Cricut Craft Room Design Team!!

Today is my first project!

It's Would You Ever Guess Wednesday, where we can use the feature keys on a cartridge, make a cake project with a regular cartridge, or use a regular cartridge to make a cake creation. We were also given another option, we could make a tag using the feature keys on any cartridge.

I went with the Tag Feature and made a Gift Tag...

I went with Sweet Treats Cricut cartridge for the tag ( a cart that I normally don't go with to make a tag).  It's on page 52 the Flower4 and was cut at 5inches.  I also included the shift cut.  The cute chick is from Once Upon A Princess.  It's on page 63 the Chick and was cut at 3inches.

Recipe:
Paper is from my scraps
Sweet Treats Cricut cartridge-Tags Feature Flower4 cut at 5inches
Once Upon A Princess Cricut cartridge-Chick cut at 3inches
My Pink Stamper Punny-licious stamp set
White gel pen
VersaFine in Onyx Black

So my project today is a layout that I made about my friends.  In previous hops I made layouts about my family and fiance so I thought this one would be different.  My friends are fabulous!  The girls in the pictures are my best friends and I've known them for over 12 years now.

I used the MyMemories Software and the Sewing With Mommy kit.

Thank you so much for hopping by and a very special thank you to Liz for allowing me to be a hop stop.

Altered Notebook & Weekly Card Series Starting

Hi everyone!  I hope you all had a fabulous New Years.  Sad to say I have been sick for a few days now and just couldn't stay awake to ring in 2012.

I want to share a composition notebook that I made for myself.  This is for my New Years resolutions, my thoughts, etc..

I made this simple because it's gonna get used a lot.

Recipe:
Paper is from Colorbok Patterned Paper Pack Neutrals and my scraps
Sentimentals and Storybook Cricut cartridges
Trim and letter stickers come from my stash

Now for the first of many things to come for 2012....

I have decided that this will be the year to get myself healthy.  My fabulous crafty friend Lisa has started a Facebook group to help each other stayed motivated.

That being said I got inspired to start a card series every Sunday that focuses on motivation, friendship, inspiration.  I will be sending these cards out so the idea of the series will be clean and simple and easy enough to get into an envelope.  Join me next Sunday for my first card :)

Thanks for visiting and I hope you have a fabulous night.
