Grandmother To Be Baby Shower Favors

Hi everyone! Happy Friday! I hope you all enjoy your weekend.

A few days ago I delivered a custom order of favors to a dear friend of mine. Her friend is a first time grandmother and wanted some favors for the party they had. Now being new to this Grandmother To Be Baby Showers, I had no clue what to make so I knew the favors were going to be unique.

I created these favor toppers completely from scratch. Love how they turned out...

The 3 x 4 clear bags are from Jaded Blossom. The font and duck are from the Silhouette store.

I decided to make a caddy and use the Smore file!

I know what you are thinking. Why do I have cookies in with a smores kit!? My house every Sunday in the summer do smores but in a different way.

We take cookies instead of graham crackers and put it together with marshmallows and chocolate. Assemble the smore and wrap individually in aluminum foil and put on the grill for a couple of minutes. They are super yummy!

Super Awesome Fabulous Announcement

I'm so excited for today because I can finally announce that I've been added to the Trendy Twine Design Team!

So I'm showing some very simple cupcake toppers.  These were a custom order from a customer as she wanted princess theme with pink and yellow on lollipop sticks.  She wanted something very simple.  Here are just a few...

I used the Princess Party Cricut cartridge.

In the middle of creating the toppers, the customer called and asked if I would send her a box that would match the theme and colors to see if it would be something she would want added on to the order.  Naturally she fell in love with the favor box and told me to keep them plain with nothing done to them...

The box also came from Princess Party Cricut cartridge and was cut at Fit To Page.

I wanted to show off some candy gifts that I made for my mom's coworkers daughter.  She wanted something simple this year for the Valentine gifts and I thought these were perfect.  Her daughter calls them heart gifts lol.  Pinterest inspired you can see where the spark came from by clicking here.

These were so simple to make.  I had to make 12 of them and got them done fairly quickly.  The little one (I call her the little one but she's actually 5) loved them!  She said she is happy and knows the heart gifts will make her friends smile (she says the cutest things lol).

My first project is a bag...

The bag is from Plantin Schoolbook and came from the Tall Ball feature on page 80. It was cut at Fit To Page.

The circle is from Plantin Schoolbook and is <circle> on page 72. It was cut at 4 1/2inches.

The oval shapes are from French Manor and came from Tag 1 using the shift on page 68. One was cut at 4 1/4inches the other at 4inches.

The eiffel tower is from French Manor and is <EifflTwr> on page 68. It was cut at 3 3/4inches. The layer feature was also used to complete this cut.

My next project is really simple! I was asked by a customer to make treat bags for her daughters birthday party who loves girly skulls. She didn't want them fancy so I thought they came out pretty cute.

The bag is from Plantin Schoolbook and came from the Roly Poly feature on page 80. It was cut at Fit To Page.

The girly skull is from Rock Princess on page 68. <Skull1> was cut at 3 3/4inches.
