Christmas In July Blog Hop

Good morning and welcome to the Christmas in July Blog Hop.  I'm happy you stopped by.  If you just came from visiting Bobbi at Rock Girl Custom Design, you are right on track.  If you just came across my blog and would like to hop along, please start over with our lovely hostess Lisa at Scrapping With Lisa.

This hop runs from July 15-17th, so you have plenty of time to make it all the way through the hop. Check out each blog and see what each blog has to offer for BLOG CANDY!   Please come back tomorrow to see what new projects we have created.  After all it's Christmas in July and who doesn't like Christmas.

In support of each crafter and the time they have put into their work, to be eligible for the "Grand Prize" you MUST visit each blog and leave a comment for each day of the blog hop and also become a follower at "Scrapping With Lisa" and Lisa's facebook page:  https://www.facebook.com/pages/Scrapping-with-Lisa/130882060268842.
Have fun and enjoy all the wonderful projects created by some wonderful talented friends.

On to day 1.  I decided that each day would be different.  Today the post shows off gifts.  Who doesn't like getting gifts?!  I love making and receiving homemade gifts.  Ten times better!  The 2 I have today are fabulous and the rockin part....these gifts can be used for any occasion and they are super simple!

The first gift idea is a clutch that holds mini candles.  I found the template here.

 Recipe:
Paper, ribbon and brad come from my stash
Flowers are I Am Roses and Recollections
Lindy Stamp Gang Starburst Spray in Cathedral Pines Green
Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Fired Brick

Another view.

I could fit 2 small candles placed on their sides.

The second project is something I found over with September Ninth.  Stop by her blog to check out the instructions.  And what would I be making today?!  Scrubs!  Perfect for gift giving!  So simple and the possibilities are endless.  Today I made hand scrub.
I filled the container three quarters with sugar.  Laid a layer of the hand soap down.  Mixed everything together and tada....hand scrub!

This is what it looks like.  Smells fabulous!

Decorate it any way you like.
Recipe:
SoftSoap Cherry Blossom
Ziploc twist container
Everything is from my stash
Lindy Stamp Gang Starburst Spray in Rudolph's Nose Red
Scrappy Moms Winter Wishes stamp set
Stickles in Gold
Spellbinders Nestabilities-Small Oval and Small Scallop Oval
Stampin Up Classic Stamp Pad in Real Red

Another view.

Ok so onto some blog candy.  I will be giving three lucky winners a $10 gift card of their choice to either Michaels, Joanns or Hobby Lobby.  That's right, I said three winners.  One for each day.   To win, simply leave a comment and a way for me to reach you.  Obviously, commenting on each day will increase your chances.  I will put in extras entries if you become a friend on Facebook and become a follower of my blog.  I will be using Random. org and announce the winners on Wednesday, July 20th.

As we all know, Blogger has been unfriendly.  If you are having a problem becoming a follower, please let me know.

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to come back tomorrow where I will have a new project.

Have a fabulous day and continue hopping to April at Curls and Grins
