Keeping The Peace Blog Hop

For my GAB#12 Technique post, click here.
For my Hello Spring Card post, click here.

Happy Saturday, Nikki here.  Welcome to the Keeping The Peace Blog Hop hosted by the lovely and talented Adri at Ma Cherie Creations.  If you are coming from Asheyna at Musings of a Scattered Mind, you are right on track.  If you just came across my blog or would like to hop along, please start over with Adri.

This hop is about peace themed projects.  I'm so excited to be finally showing my project...I've had this done since Wednesday.  I love crafting in all forms.  Today I bring you something I altered that I will be giving to my sister.  Enjoy!

Recipe:
Wooden peace heart came from AC Moore
Copic Sketch Markers-V17 and YR16
Paper is K &Company Que Sera Sera
Prima flowers and bling
Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Walnut Stain
Lindy Stamp Gang-Glitz Spritz in Desert Moon Sunset Pink, Moon Shadow in Burnt Umber, Starburst Sprays in Canna Lily Burnt Orange and Sweet Violet Purple Teal
Butterfly stamp is from Inkadinkado
Recollections flowers
Gem Stone Alphabet from Inkadinkado
The peace came from the jewelry making department at Joanns
Staz On in Jet Black
Tim Holtz Distresser Tool

Some close ups:

I colored the bling with my copics.

For blog candy......
As most of you know I will be moving next weekend from Delaware to Michigan.  The gift cards seem to be a little easier at the moment so the winner will get a $20 gift card to Michaels, Joanns and ahhh now Hobby Lobby.  I will anounce the winner on Monday, May 2nd.  To win, simply leave a comment and a way for me to reach you.

I also wanted to invite everyone to hop on over to GAB Challenge Blog where there is a new challenge every Saturday.

Thanks so much for hopping/stopping by.  A huge thank you to Adri for allowing me to be a hop stop.

Enjoy the weekend and a great Easter, your next stop is Carrie at Paper, Glitter, Stamps.
