Faux Tile Technique
You can find the tutorial for this technique at Splitcoaststampers. Now...I'm not going to lie, I've been dreading this challenge since we started this challenge blog in February. It's a time consuming technique that I wouldn't use on a regular basis. Sorry for the picture quality, the glossing accents definitely made picture taking difficult. Plus I took the picture from a different angle to reduce the glare. This was my first attempt at the faux tile and yes I wasn't sure about cutting the squares so I did cut at the wrong place and it looks like she has another eye. I still like how it turned out and I hope you all do too. Enjoy!

This is great! I need to try this technique!
I didn't realize I was so behind on stopping by!
Very cool! I can't do stuff like this - I just plain stink at lining stuff like that up and then I show it to my husband and the first thing out of his mouth is "it's crooked." *LOL* You did a great job!
