12 Days Of Christmas Blog Hop Day 2

For Cricut Craft Room's 25 Days Of Christmas Penguin post, click here.

Welcome to Day 2 of the 12 Days Of Christmas!

This is a 12 day hop filled with anything and everything Christmas.

If you are coming from Theresa, you are right on track.  If you just came across my blog and would like to hop along, please start over with Lisa as she is our lovely hostess.

There are some fabulous prizes and great sponsors for this hop so please make sure you follow the requirements for each day.

Here is the lineup in case you get lost...

Today is a gift card holder.  I feel that gift cards are so impersonal but are necessary in some cases.  If you are gonna give gift cards for the holidays, why not personalize the holder.  I went with clean and simple because you know in the long run it will get thrown away.

Recipe:
Paper is from my stash and Recollections Jolly & Bright
Martha Stewart corner rounder
3 Girl Jam crinkle ribbon-Holly Berry

Here is the inside.  To get this tutorial, please click here.

I'm going to give a big prize away to one lucky person.  The prize will be a secret for a couple of posts.  To win my grand prize, you must comment on all 12 days of the hop.

Reminder that some days may have individual blog candy besides my grand prize.

Please remember to stop back tomorrow for a new Christmas project.

Your next stop is Anita.

Before I present my project, I would like to present a fabulous guest designer...Haidee at Created2Bunique is here and this is what she has to say...

Hello creative friends, my name is Haidee from created2Bunique. I am excited to be here for Lisa and this incredible opportunity I was given. I am mother of two boys, married to a SUPER FANTASTIC man  and full-time executive secretary. I have scrap-booked/crafted for over 13 years. I have just started to make greeting cards in the last  year. I was created to be unique by God and that is so true I am unique.lol!

My ideas come from out of no where and I work best at last minute projects.

I have learned that what I like 'least" everyone 'likes' most. Creating with my hands has been such a great enjoyment that I spend much of my time in my playroom a.k.a. scrapbook-room.
I never turn down a challenge with crafts and never turn down a good sale, hehehe. I enjoy sharing my creative ideas- rather it's big or small :)

Please enjoy the following projects...

Aren't her cards just super cute?!  Please make sure you visit Haidee's blog today and say hello.

My blog will have a lot of different projects.  I have cards, gift card holders, food and much more.  I have surprise blog candy so make sure you comment on each day.

Homemade Christmas Gift Blog Hop

For Cricut Craft Room's 25 Days Of Christmas Animals post, click here.

Good morning and welcome to the Homemade Christmas Gift Blog Hop.  I'm so glad you could join us!

This is a 2 day hop with 2 different homemade gifts for each day so make sure you visit today and tomorrow as you won't want to miss a thing.

If you are coming from Lynda at Memories In Tyme, you are right on track.  If you just came across my blog and would like to hop along, please start over with Carla as she is our fabulous hostess.

Here is the lineup in case you get lost...

So my mom has called on me again for this Christmas for gifts for her co workers.  Last year it was ornaments so this year I need something different.  Beside from Christmas gifts, I adore homemade gifts!  It's so personal and customized!

For today I want to show a hand scrub that I had made.  You can get the tutorial here at Greenbean Crafterole.  I kept it a fairly neutral scent and lavender is a fabulous one! These are fairly cheap to make and the possibilities are endless.

Here is a picture of what my scrub completed in the container.

Here is another picture with the lid on it.  I know I know, it's really simple.  I watch how much my mom uses the hand scrub I made for her with pretty packaging and the poor lid is all blah now so I keep my lids kinda clean and simple.  Plus, my mom had asked for ribbon only so I have to please my customer :)

Thanks for hopping by and don't forget to come back tomorrow where I will have another homemade gift.

Your final stop is Gina.
