Decorate To Celebrate Guest Designer Day

I wanted to share my project for Decorate To Celebrate.  I'm a guest designer there today.

All month long is a birthday celebration so the month's inspiration and challenge is of course birthdays parties.


I went with a favor box.  I made five more for a birthday party coming up but I'm just showing one.

For my project I have created....a treat bag that will match with the step card I showed yesterday.  The card and the treat bag will be going to my mom on Tuesday filled with some yummy goodies and a breakfast sandwich.  I'm surprising her at work!

So today's project is a little different.  I went with a card to give to my mommom on Thanksgiving Day. I love the simplicity of it. 

This Thanksgiving is a little special to me.  Every year for the last 10 years I would watch the Macy's Day Parade with my mommom while we cook the turkey and make all the yummy trimmings.  This year because my fiance and I were relocated from Delaware to Michigan, we were unsure we would be visiting for the Thanksgiving holiday thus breaking mine and my mommom's tradition.  As fate would have it, we were able to move back to Delaware and I'm thankful that I can still continue my family tradition!
