Clean & Simple Sunday

Happy Sunday everyone!  I hope you all are enjoying your weekend!

So today starts the first card in the series for Clean & Simple Sundays.  If you are just tuning in, every Sunday I will be showing a clean and simple card that is for friendship, motivation, inspiration, etc..

I got inspired to start this series after deciding that this was my year to get healthy.  I joined a group on Facebook that consists of crafty friends trying to get healthy as well.  Everybody loves snail mail so I loved the idea of sending cards as extra motivation.

Love getting snail mail?  Send me your address to glamoroussideofscrapping@gmail.com and I will put you on my mailing list.

Ok so enough of the blah blah for a bit and on to the card I have for today...

Recipe:
Kraft cardstock from my scraps
Ribbon and brads are from my stash
K.Andrew Designs Fashionable Friends stamp set
White gel pen
Cuttlebug Damask embossing folder
VersaFine in Black Onyx

I love kraft cardstock so you will be seeing a lot of it lol.  When I cut something out that's not the size or shape I was looking for, I put into a container.  So the flowers I believe came from Forever Young Cricut cartridge and they were cut such a long time ago that I'm not too sure what size they were cut at.  The card took me about 15mins to make so I'm quite pleased on how my first card of the series turned out.

So now for something fun...
The last Sunday of every month I'm going to have a guest designer and a challenge.  Open to all and it will last one week.  Link up your project and I will announce the winner on the following Sunday.  There will be a prize each challenge :).  More details when the 29th comes around.

****I'm looking for guest designers****
The requirement will be to make a clean and simple card according to the theme I select and link up to my blog the day of the post.
If you are interested, please email me at glamoroussideofscrapping@gmail.com with your blog address.

Thank you so much for stopping by.  I have two more posts today!  My 100 Cart Blog Hop and It's Cold Outside Blog Hop Day 2 so be sure to check them out.

See you back again on Sunday for another clean and simple creation.

Love the card ... now I'll have to go hunting for the Damask folder -- I thought it looked floral from where I sit! Very pretty!! Can I be one of your guest designers? Better -- come over to the Paper Jungle and we'll create several months' worth of cards together and be inspirational too. GOOD FOR YOU on getting healthy this year. I hope to, too ... now to get motivated!!

Much love,
